Why is it fine for girls to play with cars and not boys with dolls?
Why is the mom so confused and upset about this?
If I had sons I would not let them play with dolls because It doesn't seem right because when I go look at the doll commercials it doesn't look like there is any boys playing with dolls. Nor do I see other boys play with dolls. Also if your at the park and every boy is playing with nerf guns and he is the only one with a doll I think children at the park would bully him.
It is fine for girls to play with cars because sometimes in commercials there are barbie cars and some girls play with that. But when boys play with dolls he will probably be the only one because most boys play with what they see on commercials.
The mom is confused because she doesn't know why he wants a girl doll when she thinks of other boys to play with violent stuff. The mom is upset because she doesn't want her son to be the weird one nor to be make fun of.
